Book Review – The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
First, let me say I like The Heart Principle. I like this author.
But neither of these characters, especially Anna, have any business being in a relationship yet. Anna has so many revelations and heartbreaks and mental health issues to work through, that what she needs is to build a relationship with herself, first. All I could see here was codependency.
But dangit, I love Helen Hoang, and it’s still a good story! I just don’t think The Heart Principle depicts a healthy relationship. They should have taken a couple of years apart and *then* made a life together.
