STREAMING

Brain on Fire – Netflix

This Netflix movie is based on a real-life case in which a young woman goes almost comatose with mental problems. Well-acted and thoughtful.

PODCAST

Revisionist History – podcast by Malcolm Gladwell.

Rules for life. McDonald’s fries. Faulty memory. Author Malcolm Gladwell (Blink, The Outliers, and more) takes a subject in this podcast and frames it in a new light.

MOVIE

A Quiet Place – now out on DVD/Bluray

Wow, this is a good movie. John Krasinski (Jim from The Office) directs and co-stars in this post-apocalyptic horror movie about creepy crawlies that hunt based on sound.

DANCE

Legend of Love

This clip of Ulyana Lopatkina dancing in Legend of Love is mesmerizing. Ballerina Lopatkina has legendary drive and talent. I just can’t take my eyes off of her.
