Day 8: Something That Really Stuck in my Craw
You know, it takes a lot to ruffle my feathers. I love it when people disagree with my book reviews, for example. It makes for such interesting discourse.
But this year, a couple of things got me fired up.
I was plagiarized. Yes – plagiarized! Some bozo took my closed captioning I had added to my booktube videos, ripped it, and made their own videos with some robotic voice saying my words.
I got my first trolling comments. And they were nasty. My booktube friend, Beautifully Bookish Bethany, told me that it was a marker that I have truly made it as a youtuber. I’ll choose to look at it that way. Now that I’ve arrived, I’ll be granting autographs for $50 per signature.
